Introduction
Irregular wet agglomerates (produced by mixing powders and solvents) are loaded into the auxiliary hopper. The integrated screw feeder continuously conveys material to the vertical extrusion module. Through synchronized scraping, compression, feeding, and extrusion actions, the material is formed into uniform cylindrical extrudates. These strands gravity-feed into a timed valve chamber, which discharges batches at preset intervals into the centrifugal spheronizer. Within the spheronization chamber, breaker teeth segment the strands while centrifugal force and complex tumbling motions transform them into monodisperse spheres, discharged via pneumatic gate.
